As President of the MENA Student Association at Northwestern University, Sara:

• Was featured on CBS News for Arab Heritage Month Programming

• Passed the 'Mena Visibility Resolution' in Student Government advocating for representation on campus

• Hosted the first-ever MENA Formal & MENA Beats concert ft. Saint Levant & Bayou

• Advocated for a school-wide Arabic minor

• Was awarded the 'Wildcat Excellence Award: Outstanding Student Organization'

• Hosted numerous successful events such as Arab Expressions, Assyrian New Years, Dabke Night, MENA Women’s Week, & more.

Sara is also the 2021 Coptic Orphans Maged Atiya Scholarship Recipient.
